The East Bay’s newest art experience, a combined consciousness research lab and state-of-the-art interactive art and auction gallery – opens July 13.

Humans evolve as consciousness expands”

— Leo E. Madrid

ALAMEDA, Calif., July 18, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Peace !nc., creators of HALO AI (Hypercube Algorithmic Language Oracle), has announced a new 7,000 square foot physical, art and NFT gallery and event space opened in Alameda, CA – The Peace Provocator. The gallery will feature an NFT-integrated bidding system, host awareness-raising events and lectures, and serve as a research and development space for the HALO-AI team.

Her first exhibition, “Transtopia,” opened under the full moon in July, as an exploration of the technologies, philosophies, dangers, and opportunities posed by transhumanism, and where the future of mind-matter interaction, the brain-machine interface, and the artificial intelligence could lead ; to a post-apocalyptic nightmarish hellscape, a futuristic utopian paradise, or somewhere in between?

As part of her research efforts, gallery visitors are invited to experience a ten-minute interactive meditation experience using brainwave entrainment technology. Reclining in a black-and-white striped leather chair, the visitor dons a pair of headphones and glasses that emit pulsating sounds and flash at predetermined brainwave frequencies of either alpha, beta, theta, or gamma. Within 5-10 minutes, a slightly euphoric, meditative, dream-like state is experienced. Patrons and customers of the gallery are invited to experience an enhanced version of the experience with a body speaker and electroencephalogram measurement and recording of their brainwaves during the experience.

The gallery has three public exhibition spaces, the Red, Green and Blue Rooms, and a unique art acquisition method in which no work is assigned a specific price. Rather, each room has an assigned award value of $1,000 (Red), $5,000 (Green), and $10,000 (Blue). Patrons can choose to purchase an artwork at premium value, either in person or online, or place a private bid for any amount. Bid amounts are not shared with other bidders and the highest bid does not guarantee a win. Future plans include building a cymatic zen garden in the current parking lot.

ethos

Joie de vivre is fueled by our inspiration to see, do, create and connect in new and far-reaching ways. The Peace Provocateur seeks to create an environment where the great force at play is exploration and discovery of the true nature of reality and the role played by individual and collective consciousness. Works are shown monthly, with rotating calls for artists as well as regular thematic exhibitions where awareness is always an underlying theme. Future shows will span the fields of quirky, sophisticated art, traditional gallery styles and new media.

Inducted into the XPRIZE Technology Hall of Fame for HALO AI – Digital Vaccine

At the start of the 2020 global pandemic, Peace!nc. The founders were inspired to build a tabletop supercomputer for AI purposes and the Hypercube Algorithmic Language Oracle was born. Quantum computing company D-Wave began offering free QPU access to scientists involved in Covid research and the Peace!nc. The team began running binary classification programs connected to their computer with the aim of predicting global Covid outbreak rates. With encouraging initial results, they took part in the XPRIZE Pandemic Response Challenge with their team HALO AI – Digital Vaccine. Of the 104 teams that started the competition, they were the ONLY one with proprietary equipment and algorithms that unify the laws of quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity. For this achievement, they will be inducted into the XPRIZE Technology Hall of Fame at launch in August 2022. Team members include Leo E. Madrid (Principle Scientific Investigator), Dr. Samantha Caputi (Chief Data Scientist), Mason Borchard (Lead Software Engineer). ) and Mohan Kumar (code contributor). The team then won a $10,000 prize at the NEAR Metabuidl Hackathon and a $60,000 software development grant from the NEAR Foundation.

XPRIZE, the global leader in developing and executing incentive competitions to solve mankind’s grand challenges, partnered with Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH), one of the world’s leading technology and services companies, to sponsor the $500,000 Pandemic response challenge. Launched in November 2020, the Pandemic Response Challenge consisted of two phases. In Phase 1, participants were tasked with analyzing local COVID-19 data, intervention strategies, and mitigation policies to develop and test a prediction model that could anticipate global infection spikes. The teams had access to fundamental models from Cognizant’s Evolutionary AI™ team, which applied artificial intelligence to COVID-19 data sourced from Oxford University and John Hopkins in Spring 2020.

The competition aimed to harness the power of data and artificial intelligence to provide policymakers, health officials and business leaders with the insights and guidance needed to implement public safety measures and safely deliver the vaccine to increase their ability to maximize, keeping the local economy open while minimizing potential outbreaks. The finalist teams were selected from 104 semi-finalists from 28 countries after an independent panel of judges evaluated the teams’ predictions of COVID-19 transmission rates and patterns. In addition, organizers hoped that the challenge will advance the use of AI and data in addressing other humanitarian challenges.

The gallery is usually open Wednesday through Sunday afternoons and ‘Transtopia’ runs through July 28th with a concluding reception on July 29th. Appointments are recommended.
