ALAN B LEVAN | NSU BROWARD CENTER OF INNOVATION (Levan Center) hosts the First Responders Startup Showcase presented by 211 Broward on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.

• The Levan Center’s First Responders Startup Showcase offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their new and emerging technologies in the First Responders industry.

• Startups present their concepts and solutions live to an audience of investors, strategic partners and community members.

• The four presenting organizations are:

o CERA (Technology/Security): Critical Event Response Applications (CERA) is a real-time active threat response system that connects police and medical responders with teachers, students and other citizens through an app and web application. CERA automates key tasks and provides police and first responders with a live overview of an incident.

o Team RKT (Technology/Software): Ross and Kendall Technologies (RKT) specialize in mobile simulation hardware and software to create an effective and realistic training platform for all aviation, first responder and military personnel. RKT has developed the first patent-pending Mobile Aircraft Simulation Trainer (MAST), which is a handheld, ground-based aviation tool designed to provide hands-on experience during on-board aircraft emergencies.

o FloodLAMP (Technology/Health Diagnostics): FloodLAMP provides fast and reliable molecular testing anywhere. FloodLAMP programs are designed to find unknown infections and stop the spread of viruses in schools, communities and workplaces. They are performed entirely on-site or near-site at the point of need.

o Clearpath Alerts LLC (Technology/Security): Clearpath is a leading provider of security and emergency preparedness technology and training solutions to government agencies, institutions, businesses and event organizers. Clearpath has developed a cloud-hosted emergency preparedness management platform called TOTALITY™, the Public Safety Bomb Technician Incident Notification System network application and the Prepare My School online training program for school staff around the world.

• This inaugural event is designed to set the stage for future first responder technologies, entrepreneurs and community members to grow with the Levan Center and showcase their work to the South Florida community. The event provides pitching organizations with exposure to potential customers, investors and community members.
