The series is solely produced by Alexey himself. The series follows the conflict between singing human-headed toilets—the titular "Skibidi Toilets"—and a large group of Mechanical Cyborgs and Sentient Robots with CCTV cameras, speakers, and televisions in place of their heads called The Alliance. the Skibidi Toilets, and their leader G-Toilet, threaten humanity and had conquered the world and latter antagonists, the Astro Toilets would soon appear in the series, and it is up to the Alliance to stop the toilets to save the world.
The first episode came out on February 7, 2023 as an 11-second YouTube Short. The show was initially only created as a joke video by its creator but had since become one of the most popular web series on the platform. The series has currently aired 77 episodes and 25 Seasons, resulting it being of 1 hour and 40 minutes long.
Episodes usually came out within 6 days to about a few weeks. They are then grouped into a Season, consisting of 3 episodes each (excluding Seasons 1 & 2 which had 4). Due to the 60 second limit YouTube only allowing each of the episodes are cut by a fraction; so, it is recommended to watch earlier episodes individually. These earlier episodes (etc. 1-5) have a full-screen form in DaFuq!?Boom!'s main videos, revealing hidden details that could not make it in Shorts. Prior to Episode 39, Episodes were exclusively in short form and had shorter runtimes, these shorts would come out almost daily. Ever since Episode 39, full-screen versions of episodes are released before the short-form versions of the episodes. The episodes are largely dialogue-free with older episodes only having lyrics from the Skibidi Toilet's and Speakermen's respective anthems. Cryptic, reversed lines were later implemented with the introduction of the TV Men and the Secret Agent monologue in later episodes.
The series began to surge in popularity on YouTube Shorts as more episodes were produced and released, garnering tens of millions of views per episode, with some episodes exceeding hundreds of millions of views. The series is predominantly popular among Generation Alpha (born between 2012 and 2025) due to its eye-catching animations, unique character designs, and fast-paced nature. Introduction[]
The largely dialogue-free series depicts a conflict between singing human-headed toilets—the titular "Skibidi Toilets"—and humanoids with CCTV cameras, speakers, and televisions in place of their heads called, The Alliance. Set in a fairly recent Dystopian past, sometime after the mid-1980s, the Skibidi Toilets, and their leader G-Man, had taken over the world, infecting most Humans and turning them into their own kind in the process. Two types of humanoids, Cameramen and Speakermen, form an alliance against the toilets, TV Men will also be later introduced later on in the series. Each has one of its kind that is much larger than the rest, termed "the titans". A new race of toilets would also later appear in the later seasons called the "Astro Toilets", a rouge splinter group who separated from the main Skibidi toilets for reasons still yet to be answered. Humans will also make a return later on in the series and are revealed to play a minor role in the series.
Episode 1[]
The episode takes place in what appears to be an apartment of some kind, with POV-Cameraman slowly approaching the bathroom. A small G-Man from Half-Life 2 can be seen walking past the camera; this later is similarly put in other episodes with other Half-Life 2 characters. While POV-Cameraman goes into the bathroom, a poster of a woman screaming can also be seen. The POV-Cameraman then stops at the toilet. This is when a head of Male_07 comes out of the toilet. It sings the song known as the Skibidi Toilet Anthem, that other Skibidi toilets sing before stretching its neck and attacking the POV-Cameraman.
Episode 2[]
The episode takes place in what appears to be on a hallway of an apartment of some kind, the POV-Cameraman walks towards the elevator while the Genie from the Disney franchise Aladdin is on a T-pose while moving towards the end of the hallway and two small Gordon Freeman and Humanoid G-Man are dancing, the elevator opens just to reveal a new variant of Skibidi Toilet, these being the Skibidi Urinals. The left and right Skibidi Urinals' heads come out of the urinals, and they start singing the song known as the Skibidi Toilet Anthem. After a while, the middle Skibidi Urinal's head comes out which turns out to be a Female Skibidi Urinal, the two male Skibidi Urinals stop singing while looking surprised at the female Skibidi Urinal, then, the Femake Skibidi Urinal goes and sings: "Ain't here to hurt nobody.". After the female Skibidi Urinal stops singing, the two male Skibidi Urinals start singing again, aswell as getting closer and closer to their female counterpart after which the Female Skibidi Urinal gets killed by them turning into a skeleton.
Episode 3[]
This episode starts with POV-Cameraman, other Cameramen (consisting of 2 Large Cameramen and a few Camera Trucks, a few Normal Cameramen and Humans) looking at five Large Skibidi Toilets and one Giant Skibidi Toilet, the group begins to sing the Skibidi Toilet Anthem. Suddenly, the Giant Skibidi Toilet looks at POV-Cameraman, it then extends its neck towards POV-Cameraman and proceeds to kill him.
Episode 4[]
The episode takes place in a restaurant, but the chairs are replaced with toilets. Normal Humans are eating poop in a restaurant and then a Normal Skibidi Toilet rams the door, then enters the restaurant. When the camera switches, the Humans become a Normal Skibidi Toilet. A Larger Medium Skibidi Toilet also enters along with four Micro Skibidi Toilets. And then the Normal Skibidi Toilet jumpscares the POV Cameraman.
Episode 5[]
As the episode begins, multiple soldiers, tanks and AVLBs are seen moving while people are concerned about the Flying Giant Skibidi Toilet appearing in the sky, with 2 Helicopters circling it. They eventually fly away from the toilet, which calls 3 Flying Spawner Skibidi Toilets. They spew 9 Flying Skibidi Toilets out of their mouth, 3 toilets each. The 3 toilets then turn their heads towards the POV-Cameraman, before a Flying Skibidi Toilet crashes into the POV-Cameraman and kills him.
Episode 6[]
From the start of the episode, the POV-Cameraman pans to a disco room where Skibidi Toilets and other Humans are dancing. The camera stops, DJ Skibidi Toilet's head comes out of the toilet, singing Skibidi Anthem x Bloody Mary by Lady Gaga. After the singing, DJ Skibidi Toilet attacked the POV-Cameraman and then the video ends.

Production and Origins[]
Alexey initially began to work on creating the series in late January 2023 as a joke video made on the free animation software, Source Filmmaker (SFM) which was mostly inspired by him having nightmares involving "heads coming out of toilets."[1] Gerasimov was still having dreams about the toilet, and someone told him to try to battle the toilet heads, even if it was only virtually. Based on the truth of these nightmares, Gerasimov believes that a lot of people can relate to his videos, and made the series based off on it. Aleksey also took inspiration from the video game, Half-Life and the Movie Franchise, Transformers.
A video on his channel called "STUCK IN A PISSMARE (SFM)" which released a few months before the series' premiere, was heavily inspired by these surreal nightmares. This video along with a short titled "skibidi bop yes yes yes" which released a few days prior to the release of Skibidi Toilet presumably foreshadowed the series debut. The series also takes inspiration from Aleksey's other projects, The concept of the hardware heads/ were first shown in a now deleted music video from 2021 titled "Blugray - Demand", and a 2021 miniseries called "dafuq" where random assets and objects are put together to create strange and bizarre creatures, with the second segment of the series featuring a Male_07 model mixed up with a toilet, thus creating an entity resembling a Skibidi Toilet.[2]
Setting[]
The series takes place in a dark, apocalyptic earth sometime after the year 1985 with the Skibidi Toilets and the Alliance fighting and engaging in a large global conflict with many episodes taking place all over the world, mostly destroyed and in ruins. The series also features an eerie, gritty, sci-fi tone representing the mass conflict between the sides.
Early episodes mostly took place in the City and in New York City. The conflict had later spread to all over the globe creating mass destruction and chaos.
As a cartoon, it includes many unrealistic occurrences that could not happen in the real world such as in early episodes where Skibidi toilets had the ability to fly naturally and teleportation.
Characters[]
The series primarily centers around the titular antagonists, known as the "Skibidi Toilets." These strange and often aggressive creatures are characterized by humanoid heads that chant, emerging from toilet bowls. Despite their initially bizarre and brutish behavior, they are later revealed to be highly intelligent and far more formidable than many had assumed.
The Skibidi Toilets possess a diverse and impressive arsenal of weaponry. This includes an array of tools and devices, ranging from buzzsaws and acid to lasers and even photon energy. Their advanced technological capabilities are attributed to their secretive and highly innovative science division, which continually develops new and powerful weapons.
The species/races are the Skibidi Toilets, The Alliance (TV Men, Cameramen, and Speakermen), Astro Toilets, Humans, and the Secret Agent's collective that every character comes from. There is the C/omputer men race/species that were leaked for a very long time and might come out.
Reception[]
The rise of "Skibidi Toilet" can be largely attributed to its early success on YouTube Shorts. As more episodes were produced and released, the series garnered tens of millions of views per episode, with some episodes exceeding hundreds of millions. As of November 2023, YouTube videos associated with "Skibidi Toilet" had accumulated over 65 billion views—a staggering number considering the global population of around 8 billion, although this figure includes many repeat viewers.
Initially flying under the radar, "Skibidi Toilet" experienced an explosion in popularity between early May to June 2023, This surge bought the series into the mainstream, making it a household name and one of the most influential indie animations of the 2020s. The unique combination of eye-catching animations, complex character designs, and fast-paced storytelling resonated particularly well with Generation Alpha, the cohort born between 2012 and 2025.
The series' appeal to Generation Alpha is evident in its vibrant visuals and dynamic pacing, which align with the preferences of this digital-native generation. Despite not being featured on YouTube Kids, an app tailored for children under 13, "Skibidi Toilet" found a dedicated audience among elementary school students. The series' influence extended beyond passive viewership, inspiring a wave of fan-generated content, including fanart, animations, games, fan fiction, and even fanmade series—often referred to as "multiverses" by the community with some of them garnering huge success and millions of views.
Controversy and Criticism[]
Some parental websites and Southeast Asian newspapers raised concerns about the series' violent and bizarre visuals, coining the term "Skibidi toilet syndrome" to describe its purportedly harmful effects on young children. These claims, though lacking substantial evidence, have sparked debate about the appropriateness of the content for its predominantly young audience. Critics argue that the exaggerated nature of these claims overshadows the creative and humorous intent behind the series.
