Stacker’s list of the top 100 college majors making the most money is diverse, starting with Japanese Studies and ending with Petroleum Engineering. In between, computational and applied mathematics, aeronautics, civil engineering, and mechatronics top the ranks of college majors who make the most money early to mid-career. Within the list, engineering-related college majors dominate, with petroleum engineering majors earning the highest mid-career salary at $187,300.
